3D Dilemma

3D Dilemma

The first of many weekly maths problems that are posted up in the corridor. Lots of children attempt these every week and the winner is announced in my Wednesday assembly. The winner receives a certificate and a maths prize. Have a go at this one…

What number do you get if you multiply the number of faces on a square based pyramid by the number of edges on a triangular prism by the number of vertices on a cuboid?

Try encouraging your child to write down their working to explain how they did it. Good luck!!!
